A Study on Health Knowledge Score and Contributing Factors

Abstract
Health knowledge of children started with concern of their body parts. The perceived level of children¢¥s internal body parts tested with body outline drawing were used as health knowledge score and various contributing factors such as age, educational background of mother and children¢¥s media exposure experience were analyzed to determine the effective communication channels. 1) Age and educational background of mother were both considered not significant on health perception level- of children. 2) Children¢¥s reading hours per; day showed significantly correlated with their health knowledge-level.. 3) Radio broadcasting exposure experience showed, not significant effect on health knowledge score while television showed high.
